Susan Foster
Senior Development Manager
Susan Foster has a civil engineering degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has been a licensed general contractor since 2005.
After working for the City of Charlotte in the 1980’s as the Subdivision Administrator, she went to work for the John Crosland Company learning development business from the private sector.
Susan joined Crescent Resources in 1994 and served as Vice President of Residential Development until 2005. There she handled permitting, budget analysis and preparation, rezoning petitions, FERC applications and construction of residential projects on 5 lakes along the Catawba River chain in North and South Carolina. Susan also worked with private industry, state and local governing bodies and citizen groups in developing guidelines for environmentally friendly development on the Catawba River Chain. She also served as Vice Chair of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Subdivision Committee for many years.
Susan operated her own construction management business before joining Nest Homes as Senior Project Manager. In 2015 she joined Pace Development Group, where she now serves as Land Development Manager.
She enjoys cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time in the mountains.
