Jobsite Safety at
Pace Development Group and Pace Building Group
At Pace Building and Development Group, safety is at the forefront of every project we undertake. Our commitment to comprehensive jobsite safety practices is unwavering, ensuring that every individual—from our employees to our subcontractors—is equipped and empowered to prioritize safe work practices at every stage.
As a company, we believe it is our highest priority to make sure EVERY team member goes home safely to their families every day.
Comprehensive Safety Programs
Our safety programs are meticulously crafted to address all aspects of jobsite risk management. Key components of our programs include:
Rigorous Training: All team members undergo extensive safety training sessions, covering site-specific hazards, equipment operation, and emergency response protocols. Training is continuous, adapting to new regulations, technologies, and practices.
Safety Audits and Inspections: We perform routine safety audits to proactively identify and address potential risks. These audits ensure that every project site adheres to both OSHA standards and the higher standards set forth by Pace Building and Development Group.
Incident Response and Reporting: In the event of any incident, our protocols are designed for quick, efficient, and thorough handling. Our response plans are structured to minimize impact, ensure swift medical attention if needed, and conduct a full review to prevent future occurrences.
Equipment and Resource Management: We ensure all safety equipment is readily available and maintained in peak condition. This includes personal protective equipment (PPE), first-aid kits, and any specialized tools required for particular tasks.
Subcontractor Responsibilities
At Pace, we expect every subcontractor to share our commitment to a safe working environment. All subcontractors are required to:
Adhere to Pace Safety Standards: Every subcontractor must comply with our jobsite safety programs, which may exceed typical industry standards.
Participate in Orientation and Ongoing Training: All subcontractors are required to participate in initial safety orientations and, if applicable, specialized training based on their trade or tasks.
Report and Communicate: Subcontractors are expected to report all safety incidents or near-misses promptly. Open lines of communication are encouraged so that potential hazards can be addressed in real-time.
Provide Their Own PPE: All subcontractors must provide their own safety equipment as required for their tasks and ensure it meets Pace safety standards.
At Pace Building and Development Group, the safety of everyone on our jobsites is more than a policy; it’s a culture that drives our work and defines our commitment to excellence.
