Celebrating Excellence in Community Outreach
We are thrilled to announce that our team has been honored with the prestigious MAME award for Best Community Outreach project from the Homebuilders Association of Greater Charlotte. The awards ceremony was held April 2024 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and was a remarkable celebration of the outstanding work being done in our local building industry.
Project Grace House: Empowering Unwed Mothers
Managed by our dedicated Project Manager Charles Snover , Project Grace House at Kingdom Christian Church stands as a testament to our commitment to community service. This modern, inviting home was meticulously constructed to support unwed mothers, focusing on fostering their independent living skills.
A Home Built on Hope and Grace
Project Grace House is not just a building; it's a symbol of hope and grace. Built entirely from generous donations, this beautiful home was thoughtfully designed to reflect the mission of Christian discipleship and celebrate fresh starts. From the choice of materials to the design elements, every detail was carefully considered to create a welcoming and empowering environment.
Symbolism in Design: Elevating Lives
The decision to elevate the home six feet off the ground goes beyond architectural aesthetics. It symbolizes our commitment to lifting the women and boosting their self-esteem. Each bedroom door features five panels, representing the concept of grace, while the wood mantles above the fireplaces symbolize the cross of Calvary.
Inspired by Faith: A Testament to New Beginnings
The design of Project Grace House is not just functional; it's deeply symbolic. The six columns on the front porch serve as reminders that God made man on the sixth day. Additionally, the large, eight-panel fan on the ceiling signifies new beginnings, with its openness to the loft above symbolizing the residents' journey toward a fresh start in life.
We encourage anyone who would like to join our team at Pace in supporting this cause on an annual basis, please donate at the link below:
