Duane Brown
Senior Development Manager
Duane Brown has a mathematics degree from Binghamton University and has worked in various sectors of property and infrastructure development since moving to the Charlotte area in 1993.
Before joining Pace Development Group as Land Development Manager, Duane Brown operated his own construction project management firm for six years. His other experience includes roles at APAC Carolinas as a field engineer, estimator, and project manager on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. He also gained experience in private multi-family development at Pasquinelli Construction Company where he handled budgeting analysis, plan reviews, re-zoning strategy, and oversight on all residential infrastructure development. At Drake Capital, a private equity firm specializing in the underwriting and development of master planned communities and subsequent revitalizing of distressed development assets, he was the point person in charge of re-zonings, permit acquisition, budget and pro-forma analysis, regulatory compliance, and engineer/contractor agreements.
Duane also served an appointed position on The City of Tega Cay Stormwater Advisory Board for several years.
