David Faulkner

Vice President of Development

David Faulkner, one of the Vice-Presidents and project managers at Pace Development Group, Inc., has served actively in the construction and engineering industry for more than thirty years. He began his career after graduating in 1992 from NC State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. While in school, he was also a member of the honor fraternity, Chi Epsilon.

Upon graduation, David began his career in construction with The Hardaway Company, based out of Columbus, GA. While with Hardaway, he worked in the Heavy Civil Division as a field and project engineer on large scale bridge, road and seaside construction projects located in South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia. Of particular interest, he had the opportunity to serve as one of the project engineers which oversaw the construction of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge parallel crossing project from 1995 to 1998.

In 1998, he relocated to Charlotte to work for a family-owned commercial flooring business.

In 2000, David was asked to join Pace Development Group where he is now Vice President of Development. While at Pace, David has served as a project manager as well as provided engineering support for a variety of residential and multi-family projects.

David is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Charlotte and also serves on the Land Development Council.

David is married to his wife, Lesley, and has two children, Hollis (20) and Luke (23).  He enjoys time in the woods and on the water, backpacking, camping, hunting, and fishing. He has served as a Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster in his local Charlotte Boy Scout troop where he remains an active adult volunteer.  David also serves on the Mecklenburg County Council BSA board.
