Charlie Fonville

Vice President of Construction

Charlie Fonville brings to Pace over two decades of business development and operational experience. He previously worked for Alan Simonini Homes managing multiple, high-end residential projects. Charlie has owned businesses in the fields of development, new construction, and renovation.

In 2025, Charlie was recognized as NCHBA “Construction Manager of the Year”, and he serves as a 2025 Board Member and a Builder Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte.

Charlie is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a BA in Economics, where he was also Co-Chair of the Student Development Committee and Captain of the Varsity Soccer team. He is an Inductee and past Board Member of The Collegiate School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Charlie lives in Charlotte with his wife and three daughters, where he is a soccer coach, volunteer at his daughters’ schools, and has been involved with Y-Guides.  He donates platelets frequently and was recognized as an “Outstanding Donor” with the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas.  He is a member of Team Reeb which participates in the national event “24 Hours of Booty” to raise funds for cancer research.  He enjoys running, biking and spending time with his family outdoors.
